You may request to volunteer with a friend for this role (both individuals need to register through race roster) or you may register individually and will be assigned accordingly. You will be interacting with riders and assisting with: check in, waiver signage, plate pickup, and timing chip pickup. (apre registration will be collecting timing chips, and handing out food + drink bands). This is a social position requiring leadership abilities and organizational skills

5 hour commitment (approximately 7am - 12pm) You will be situated at Capilano University Squamish at the volunteer check -in tables You may request to volunteer with a friend for this role (both individuals need to register through race roster) or you may register individually and will be assigned accordingly. You will be interacting with volunteers and assisting with: check in, waiver signage, equipment pickup, lunches, and swag pickup. This is a social position requiring leadership abilities and organizational skills

5 hour time commitment (approximately 7am - 12pm) You will be situated at Capilano University Squamish at the race start line. You may request to volunteer with up to 2 friends for this role (all individuals need to register through race roster) or you may register individually and will be assigned accordingly. You will be interacting with riders and assisting with: managing the flow as riders leave race start at Capilano University Squamish. This is a social position requiring leadership abilities and organizational skills

You will be required to bike or hike to a location on course with a backpack holding timing equipment which is less than 10 lbs - we do not provide the backpack. (Full Course requires volunteer to be comfortable on double black trails) This position requires 2 volunteers - You may request to volunteer with a friend for this role (both individuals need to register through race roster) or you may register individually and will be assigned accordingly. Stage starts are fun, outgoing and social positions requiring leadership abilities and organizational skills This position will include a brown bagged lunch provided by Nesters Market

You will be required to bike or hike to a location on course with a backpack holding timing equipment which is less than 10 lbs - we do not provide the backpack. (Full Course requires volunteer to be comfortable on double black trails) This is a solo volunteer position, requiring the ability to cheer on riders as they pass. No direct conversation or leadership is required This position will include a brown bagged lunch provided by Nesters Market

6 hour time commitment (start time varies / earliest start 7:30am) Requires management of racers crossing non-race trails Must have the ability to get to a location on course by hiking or biking ( if you are hoping to volunteer on a specific course please notify us in the space provided on registration) Course Marshalls need to be able to direct racers and potentially converse with the general public to manage rider traffic at a critical junction This position will include a brown bagged lunch provided by Nesters Market

7 hour time commitment Requires you to work in a team of 2 to track speed of riders using a radar gun and smart phone. You may request to volunteer with a friend for this role (both individuals need to register through race roster) or you may register individually and will be assigned accordingly. If you are hoping to volunteer on a specific course length (full, short, or classics) please notify us in the space provided on registration. You must be able to bike /hike into fixed location on course. (Full Course requires volunteer to be comfortable on double black trails) This position will include a brown bagged lunch provided by Nesters Market

7 hour time commitment (may start as early as 7am) This is a group volunteer position (3 total). All individuals must register through Race Roster. You may request to volunteer with up to 2 friends for this role (all individuals need to register through race roster) or you may register individually and will be assigned accordingly. Must be comfortable driving a large Home Depot van to location of feed zone. (Van will be packed with all the equipment, food, and 10 gallon water jugs). Volunteers will need to pick the van up at the Capilano University Squamish before heading to feed zone location. Must be able to setup a 10x10 canopy tent You will be required to replenish a supply of pre-packaged food / water supplied by Nesters Market. (Must be able to lift multiple 10 gallon water jugs) Requires set up and clean up of feed zone at end of race day (GFL will pick up waste/recycling/compost from location) This position will include a brown bag lunch provided by Nesters Market

6 hour time commitment Must be an experienced FA provider with a minimum 80 hours WFR, OEC or OFA3 certification Requires being positioned at a technical section on course and communicating with the lead medic, as part of a large team of medics Will require some online coordination with lead medic team before event

5-7 hour time commitment You will lead out the race (1 forerunner per course), riding the course in its entirety - starting / finishing at Capilano University Squamish. You may request a specific course (Full, Short, or Classics) volunteer must be comfortable riding a double black for full course. You will be required to communicate via phone with race controller when you start/finish each stage E-bike is allowed for this role (timing chip may be provided to riders who are not on an E-bike) You will be required to stop if there is an issue with the course/race tape in stage (i.e. fallen tree, tape torn down, etc)

5-7 hour time commitment You will follow the last rider on each course (1 sweep per course), riding the course in its entirety You may request a specific course (Full, Short, or Classics) volunteer must be comfortable riding a double black for full course. E-bike is allowed for this role (timing chip may be provided to riders who are not on an E-bike) You will be required to communicate via phone with race controller when you start/finish each stage You will be required to ensure riders are keeping reasonable pace

Happens after the event is complete on Sunday evening or on Monday, May 4th Requires you to ride with a LARGE backpack, and tare down race tape and course marking arrows Trails will be assigned based on your availability
